About the event

Menopause, midlife and elderhood - they are the unchartered territory of a woman’s life, the less talked about, less acknowledged and certainly less celebrated. During this evening of stories and conversation, we’ll swap the empty promises of anti-ageing treatments for timeless story medicine. It’s an invitation to a conversation about menopause, the mid-life threshold and the second half of life - the howls and the hallelujahs of ageing - and to let the wise women of myth, folktales and legend - a whole gaggle of witches, enchantresses, goddesses, giantesses, grandmothers, shape-shifters, hen wives and hags, guide and inspire our eldering.
